Dark, Southern, twisted, with two gorgeous male heroes who can’t get enough of each other. That’s When All The World Sleeps in a nutshell, one of my favorite gay romance novels of all time. The angst is strong with this one, but so are the scorching bedroom scenes. Gay romances are more popular than ever at the moment, but they often chart the passion between two strong, musclebound alphas of equally matched temperaments who wrestle their way into sexual versatility. Here authors Lisa Henry and J.A. Rock take the time-honored romantic dynamic of a powerful, noblehearted authority figure rescuing a beautifully damaged pariah and allow it to play out with two men. I couldn’t get enough! As with everything Lisa Henry and J.A. Rock write, the prose is razor-sharp and the brooding atmosphere intoxicating.
