It’s a strong pick me up with a dash of decadence, or as the product description puts it, an “infusion with bergamot overtones and a creamy vanilla finish.” You won’t see a milky swirl in your cup, but the aftertaste is still dessert-level sweet. This is the tea I enjoy after I’ve been good for a while with a pure, low-calorie alternative like oolong or English Breakfast. Sure, it’s a bit of an indulgence, but a small one, and hey, there’s no aspartame and we all know aspartame is currently the cause of all the world’s problems, including famine, war and terrorism. Why am I defending myself? This is good tea. If there were such a thing as a “dessert tea”, Earl Grey Crème from Teavana would be it.
